It offers engineering services and niche production to a wide variety of customers and provides technical and management consultancy across hybrid and electric vehicle systems, engine management, interior functions and safety. 

Zytek has an enviable reputation for the quality and value of its engineering expertise within its OEM, Tier-1 client and motorsport base across the world. 

Motorola invested in the Zytek Group in 2000, procuring a 19% share. In 2006, Continental AG purchased all of Motorola’s automotive divisions. Continental soon raised its stockholding to 50% and then in 2014 became 100% owners after purchasing the full shareholding.

Based in Staffordshire in the heart of England since 2014, Zytek has been a subsidiary of Continental Engineering Services. 

Continental is a global automotive engineering company, with around 134,000 employees and a turnover of €25 billion.
