ROAD VEHICLE INNOVATION SINCE 1994
Ever since the Aston Martin DB7 engine management system we developed back in 1997, Zytek has brought its rich motorsport technical expertise to road vehicles. Since then we have worked with numerous OEM’s such as Rolls Royce Bentley, Daimler Smart, General Motors, Jaguar Landrover, Audi and Dodge.
In this section we present a select few road vehicle case studies we are very proud of, and show some of the varied solutions that we are able to offer.

A HISTORY OF BUSHING BOUNDARIES
Zytek started as an engine management specialist creating the Hart F1 EMS in 1984, though it was not until 10 years later in 1994 that the first system found its way into the Aston Martin DB7.
Since then Zytek have worked with numerous other clients, see our engine management case study page for more information.
In parallel to the engine management business, in the mid 1990s Zytek expanded its offerings to include the development of electric drivetrains.
As the knowledge and experience derived from a number of demonstration programmes grew, in 1997, in order to present capabilities to major OEMs, Zytek created a groundbreaking electric vehicle based on the Lotus Elise.
Since then Zytek have worked with numerous clients on a multitude of electrification systems and solutions, see our EV case study page for more information.
See below various case studies which show examples of projects, from components to complete cars.
