IN-HOUSE TESTING SPECIALISTS
DEVELOPMENT TO THE
QUICKEST TIMESCALES
ROAD AND RACE APPLICATIONS
Our in-house test facilities and engineering team create the perfect environment to develop products and systems for the automotive industry, to the highest quality and in the quickest time frame.
We have always found that the best way to ensure the smoothest path from initiating an automotive design to testing a product is to ensure that all teams are co-located, so ensuring the highest levels of communication.
This enables comprehensive test programmes for all aspects of the product and any deviations, however small, away from the target specification can be accounted for.
This will start as the first prototype products start to be built, with detailed records being generated at all relevant stages of the build process.
This will culminate with a product being tested in a representative fashion on a full-size testbed, capable of running at full performance against an agreed ‘golden cycle’.
The testing can be conducted in both real and ‘in the loop’ facilities.
Electric Vehicle and HEV Testing Specialists
As a specialist in the development and supply of high voltage hybrid and pure electric drive systems, these facilities are invaluable as they can ensure the right facility is used to test the product against the right drive cycle, under the right test conditions.
HIL and SIL Testing
Hardware in the loop (HIL) and software in the loop (SIL) testing is possible using a range of in-house facilities, using customised hardware depending on where the real/virtual divide line is drawn. This can create a test facility where a wide range of functional testing scenarios can be carried out in a short space of time.
Our build and test facilities are concentrated in four main groups:
- Low voltage (12 and 48V) systems
- High voltage electronics
- High voltage rotating machines
- Harnessing
Moving to full-size electrical testing facilities, we have a range of high voltage, high-speed dynamometer facilities, capable of running at up to 1000V, 25,000rpm, and higher, 320kW electrical systems.
