System Based Approach To Minimise Mass / Maximise Efficiency
Zytek utilises a system based approach to enable the most light weight overall system with the highest efficiency.
This is achieved with Zyteks unique simulation environment, consisting of both external and internal proprietary tools developed over the course of the last 25 years, enabling very high levels of understanding:
• Of the electric machine.
• Its interaction with inverters & energy storage systems.
The importance of this cannot be underestimated as Zytek has never purely focused on just the electric machine or electrical energy to the detriment of other elements within the power system of electric motors.
DESIGN INFORMATION
Customers will be asked for all of the elements needed within the electric machine design. Even if not available, it is possible that some can be filled in based on Zytek experience (this approach has been used on several occasions).
This process also allows customers to make informed decisions, such as whether an ‘off the shelf invertor’ would be suitable for application, or whether it should be included in the development project.

Yes, dyno fixtures exist and Zytek can offer secure access for customers to use our test facilities.
Yes, each machine will be tested against the design specification, and will be issued with a CoP.
Zyteks systems have been used in endurance racing, prototypes, GTs and Formula E, many fields of e-motor development.
We offer a range of off-the-shelf machines; 60kW, 75kW, and 250kW, which help save on production costs.
